The <strong>process <\/strong>of digitizing millions of <strong>artifacts <\/strong>will take about 5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement comes after the museum <strong>admitted<\/strong> that 2000 artifacts were missing from its <strong>vast <\/strong>collection. About 250 had already been <strong>recovered<\/strong>. <strong>According to<\/strong> museum a <strong>spokesperson, <\/strong>the objects may have been stolen by people working there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The British Museum is among the largest in the world.
