The famous airplane, often called the  <i>Queen of the Skies<\/i>, was produced for over 50 years. The first jet left the <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"line of machines and workers in a factory, who make products\">production lines<\/a> in 1969.<\/p>\n\n<p>The 747 was a <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"something completely new and modern\">revolutionary<\/a> airplane with four <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"part of a plane that produces the power to make it fly\">engines<\/a>. It could carry almost 500 passengers. The jumbo jet helped bring air travel to the <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"here: most people\">masses<\/a> with <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"you have enough money to buy something\">affordable<\/a> prices. In the last few years airlines have <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"remove something and put something else in its place\">replaced<\/a> it with smaller, more <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"to save fuel or use less than normal\">fuel-efficient<\/a> planes. During the <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"disease that affects many people all over the world\">pandemic<\/a>, passenger travel nearly came to a complete <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"stop\">halt<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p>While there are still over 300 <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"goods that are transported in a ship or plane\">cargo<\/a> planes <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"are used; fly\">in operation<\/a> today, only 44 Boeing 747 passenger planes are up in the skies.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Boeing 747 has been <a href=\"#\/\" data-toggle=\"tooltip\" title=\"in operation\">in service<\/a> as the American president&#8217;s Air Force One since 1990.
